Ain't No Fun (Waiting Around To Be Millionaires) - AC/DC. Like a lot of Bon Scott era AC/DC, I think this is just okay. I don't know, I just don't feel any affinity toward it. Maybe it's because I was a little kid when it came out and never developed any kind of memory associated with it. Oh well, it's not a bad song. Not at all. Maybe if I finger a fat chick while it's playing I would think more of it.
Apollo II: The Writing Winter - Coheed & Cambria. They drag out the spacey intro way too long but when the rock hits it hits pretty hard. I like it. It's not as weird as I like C&C to be though. Maybe they hit the weird quota with that spacey intro. Well, that was more silly than weird. I'm not talking myself out of liking it. Just critiquing.
Fallen Angel - Poison. Hey! It's the best Poison song! That's not up for argument hoss. Really, it tells a story, there is a great chorus, fancy rhythm guitar work, the solo isn't obnoxious. It's just plain good. Oh yeah, I'm pretty certain that I have fingered a fat chick while Fallen Angel was playing.
MFC - Pearl Jam. I love a Pearl Jam song about driving. This is their second best driving song. Put it on and go for a drive. You'll agree.
King Of The World - Duff McKagan's Loaded. Duff is an interesting guy and probably the most likable of the former GNR members. He's also a very talented musician. Guitar, bass, drums... he does it all like a champ. Too bad he can't sing for shit. This could have been an above average Velvet Revolver song.
