(Flesh & Blood) Sacrifice - Poison.  I got disturbingly happy when this popped up.  Giddy is an appropriate word for what I'm feeling.  Great good timing song.  I may go see them next summer.  If Bret has another "episode" that makes him unable to speak or scat or thank the troops but somehow retains the ability to sing I WILL be there.

Who Will Lead Us? - The Gutter Twins.  The Gutter Twins have become an afterthought since the Afghan Whigs got back together.  Definitely more excited about the prospect of new AW material than some new GT stuff.  Less than three weeks to see Dulli and company live in Atlanta!  Oh, due to unforeseen circumstances (bitches be cray) I have an extra ticket to that show.  Contact me if you want it.

Rust In Peace...Polaris - Megadeth.  Ellipsis aren't true punctuation so Megadeth gets a provisional pass. Don't think I didn't notice that question mark, Gutter Twins.  Anyway, I've never been one to slobber over Rust In Peace.  It's kinda shitty when compared to Peace Sells.  This song in particular has the taint of shitty all over it.

Undertow - Tool.  I really wish Tool would find some of this mojo and come back with a similarly strong album.  That probably won't happen as Maynard has become wine making dandy of gentleman.  It's your obligation as a rock fan to hate any rocker that buys a winery.  Geof Tate is an equally egregious offender.  Luckily he got what he deserved.  Too bad Maynard runs shit in Tool.

Livin' La Vida Loca - Gypsy Pistoleros.  The greatest band ever.  Seriously, I like them more than Led Zepplin.  Lee Pistolero, the lead singer, quit the band and decided to become a rockabilly weirdo.  I'm sure the new act will be quite entertaining.  Lee is a great guy.  Yes, this a rock cover of the Ricky Martin song.  It's fantastic.
