Help Help - Pearl Jam.  Another of those so-so Pearl Jam songs.  It doesnt grab you the way it should even though all of the elements are there.  Oh well, they can't bat 1000.

Gamma Ray - Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros.  I'm late to recognize the pure genius that was Joe Strummer.  He was a pure musician, not beholden to any genre or style.  One of the few tolerable reggae influenced songs ever produced.

They Ride - The Twilight Singers.  Okay, I've established my unbreakable fandom of all things Greg Dulli but Powder Burns fell a bit flat to me.  This song is no exception.  It just doesnt burn like it should.

No Excuses - Alice In Chains.  I may waver from time to time but No Excuses is my favorite AIC song.  Perfect harmony, great guitar, lingering bass line, progressive percussion.  Couldnt ask for more.

Blackened - Metallica.  Fuckin' Rock!  With the headphones on you can actually hear the bass.

And there you go, another successful shuffle!
