Tear - Red Hot Chili Peppers. I may have added the RHCP catalog back to iTunes too soon. I forget about marginal tunes like this. It's a blatant attempt to recapture Under The Bridge's magic but not succeeding. They knew it wasn't close but still chose to put it on an album. I do like the horn near the end though. It had to have been Flea or Frusciante that made that decision.
Wrong Girl - Jane's Addiction. Perry's vocals and Dave's guitar aren't sitting well with me tonight. You shouldn't listen to Jane's Addiction on a full stomach. It'll give you the gurgles. The solo has nothing to do with the song. It's worse than most hair metal masturbatory guitar stroking.
Anything Goes - Guns N' Roses. Good to hear every once in a while. Don't think I have ever made a deliberate search to listen to this song though. The Vox guitar solo is weird. It's not great.
Fire - Red Hot Chili Peppers. That's it. RHCP is being banished from iTunes for a month or so. A shitty Jimi Hendrix cover is intolerable. And make no mistake, this is shitty.
Sweet Child O Mine - Guns N' Roses. Weird. I never get double duplicate bands in a shuffle. At least it's ending on a high note. I've never tired of this song. It's true. It's been a staple for 25 years and will probably continue to be for the next 25, god willing. All praise to be to... whomever.
