Untitled [Red Dot] - Pearl Jam. Steel drums should never be used by a rock band. Ever.
She Loves Me Not - Faith No More. FNM does R&B pretty damn well. They may be the best most rounded band to ever record. FNM can do anything. Rock's Little Engine That Could.
Roll The Bones - Rush. I love this song. I loved this era of Rush too. I also love gambling so this song should be the best thing I've ever heard. The rapping in the middle kinda throws me off a bit though. The rapper does say "ya dig" so there's one nicety. Then he says "the night has a thousand saxophones" and it makes me want to throw the stereo away and never listen to Rush again. Glad it was just the one line. I could never give up on Rush.
Mr. Scary - Dokken. How about a HELL YES!!!!! There is nothing wrong with this. It's groovy virtuosity.
Bridge Burning - Foo Fighters. Hard edged in your face rock that somehow shifts between metal, thrash, progressive and pop. Foo Fighters is my favorite band ever. There I said it. They're better than Ratt, King's X, Queensryche, Megadeth, FNM, Rush, etc. based on consistency alone. As of this moment in time I will say that they are better than The Afghan Whigs or the Twilight Singers. If I think about it anymore I may change my mind so I'm just gonna enjoy this song.
