Wicked Sensation - Lynch Mob.  Nice riff there Lynchy.  Don't know if I like Oni Logan as a vocalist though.  He's very... um...  bland.  Luckily George can rock shit correct like.  That being said, the blues break in the middle nearly ruins the song.  Blues breaks aren't good for anything other than pissing me off.

Surgical Strike - Queensryche.  Rage is the domination and Surgical Strike is a decent chunk of the dominion of domination.  I can't put my finger on it but Queensryche definitely lost something after Empire.  Since then the band seems listless and Tate piles on the vocal acrobatics without purpose.  I'm glad this album exists though.

Rocket Queen - Guns N' Roses.  Great song but not the greatest on Appetite.  You hear that everyone I've ever had the "best song on Appetite" conversation with?  I think it's the slide in the solo guitar that turns me off.  It's almost a shitty blues break.

Burnin' Streets - Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros.  Damn.  Joe Strummer is an excellent song writer and has a great voice for a guy that can't really sing.  I just like this song.  It makes me feel good.

Stargasm - Mastodon.  Can't believe that I ignored this band for so long.  I knew of their existence, liked everything I ever heard from them but never bought an album.  I've picked up two of their albums in the last month and I'm pretty sure they're one of my favorite bands of all time.  They have a big progressive sound but everything is there for a purpose.  Unlike bands like Dream Theater, Mastodon isn't all about technical proficiency.  They craft complex songs with melody and heart.
