The Mrs. Is Threatening Me With A Universe Of Pop Songs - Monday Shuffle

The Threat - Skid Row.  Youngsters today are being shortchanged by not having this kind of aggressive, hard edged rock available for mass consumption.  Sure, they can get Skid Row and the like on demand but the means for mass consumption just doesn't exist.  Popular music doesn't exist, just little pockets of specialized culture that rarely intermingle.  A black kid will never be introduced to Metallica by the weirdo quiet kid and the jock will never have an NWA CD slipped to them in the locker room.  Modern society is painfully cloistered and nearly racist.  This song is tasty good.

Mrs. Baileen - Primus.  Mentally challenged children, dead mothers, abusive teachers, and early onset murderous rage.  This is the pinnacle of artistic merit.  It should be a blockbuster movie directed by Rob Zombie.  Oh, the song is quite the dandy too.

Whale Song - Pearl Jam.  Yuck.  Filler song that even Eddie realized it's a full on turd.  He could only be bothered to sing backups.  The guitar whale yelps enrage me more than they should.  Most whales are assholes anyway.

The Bravest Man In The Universe - Bobby Womack.  I was digging the hell out of this CD on the first few listens.  Now it seems gimmicky.  Wish I skipped the purchase and just listened to it on Spotify a couple of times.

Always With You, Always With Me - Joe Satriani.  It's an instrumental.  A good one too.  Not a whole lot of rocking going on.  Maybe Joe broke up with a chick and had to get out the emotion with his ax, mannnnnn.
