The Wandering - Ryan Bingham.  Just picked up the new Bingham CD today.  I was more than a little skeptical after hearing Heart Of Rhythm but it is, overall, way superior to Junky Star.  This song isn't my favorite either.  That may be clouding my overall recollection of that album.  Either way, anything Ryan Bingham is pretty damn good.

Lovecrimes - The Afghan Whigs.  I'm an admitted Afghan Whigs maniac, they are my favorite band, but this version is 1000 times better than Frank Ocean's.  Minus the "baby daddy" line, the Whigs make the song more evil, menacing, even scary than the original.  I do believe Ocean intended the song to be evil, menacing and scary but couldn't effectively pull it off.

Descender - The Black Crowes.  Damn, I'm so glad I picked up this album on impulse.  It's fast become my favorite.  It's early 70's Rolling Stones quality.  Damn.  It makes me feel good.

Jet Airliner - Steve Miller Band.  More Steve Miller!  I guess that's okay.  Some funky kicks in the city sounds interesting.

Suture Up Your Future - Queens Of The Stone Age.  The world would be a better place with a new QOTSA album.
