Ghetto Defendant - The Clash.  You know what?  This song is terrible.  Yeah I said it.  The Clash isn't immune to criticism.  The monotone fella injecting a random comment is ridiculous.  The occasional frenzied drum beat has no purpose.  There might as well be a funky slap and pop bass solo to complete the ludicrousness of this song.

Don't Forget Me - Red Hot Chili Peppers.  RHCP gets to be tiresome but this song remains interesting.  It's slow but not a ballad.  Anthony actually sings with feeling.  I don't know what that feeling is but it's fairly intense.  Frusciante dominates the song without being flashy.  Dang, that dude was fantastic.

Just A Man - Faith No More.  Shitty filler song.  For years I've been listening to a Napster stolen version of this album and didn't realize I was missing a few tracks.  I bought a copy on a whim to get a cleaner sound.  Sadly, this turd was one of the ones I was missing.  It's uninspired, lazy and makes me regret dropping the $3 on Amazon.  It now think less of on of my favorite bands.  Would have preferred to stay ignorant.

Every Rose Has It's Thorn - Poison.  This is the first summer in at least 6 years that I'm not seeing Poison in concert.  It was a conscious decision.  I'm sick of them.  So sick of them that I'm opting out of seeing Def Leppard for the first time since the 80's on the chance I might be subjected to their set.  

Debonair - The Afghan Whigs.  Thank god!  Something that doesn't make me angry.  Gentlemen is my least favorite of the 3 big label releases but it's still better than most things that have ever existed.  Starting my countdown to the show in October.  Check out their cover of Frank Ocean's "Lovecrimes". Much better than the original.
