Children Of The Night - Whitesnake. Probably the most rocking song and a supremely rocking disc. That kind of 80's rhythm guitar work (sludgy like Ratt and some Dokken) is my favorite. If I was a child of the night I would be perpetually ready to rock.
Goodbye Hooray - Red Hot Chili Peppers. First time hearing this song. The shitty Kiedis rap isn't on this one. I like it. I'm also liking the new guitarist. He's no Frusciante but he's also no Navarro (good thing). Flea is ripping shit up here.
Volcanic - Death Angel. Love Death Angel but this isn't their best work. There is no reason for them to a ballad. Ever. I always hope the metal kicks in but it never does. It sounds like a Stone Sour song.
Stir It Up - Tesla. Wish they would stir it up a little on this song. It's bland non-song. There was no effort here.
Knocked Up - Kings Of Leon. The most creative pop song of the last twenty years. I sincerely feel like a better person for having heard this and committing it to memory.
