The Threshingfloor - Wovenhand.  I stumbled across this band on Spotify and actually picked up this CD used on Amazon.  There is a definite Moroccan flavor to this song.  Usually that world music shit just pisses me off but this is actually more than tolerable.  In fact I'd recommend this band to just about anyone that likes music.  They may get heavy with the Jesus sentiment too so there's that.

Rise Up & Fight - Crippled Black Phoenix.  Another band I found on Spotify.  Kinda prog-ish.  My kind of music though.  A bit brooding and experimental but not afraid of the rock either.  I've only heard the whole album once but it may develop into one of my favorites. Good stuff.

Tyrant - Black Math Horsemen.  First time hearing this.  It's starting out okay but I have a feeling it's going to be an instrumental.  Doodling amateurs shouldn't release instrumentals.  It makes them look stupid.  There is some womanly wailing now.  I don't care for it.  Never mind.  The rock kicked in and it's fairly proficient.  I guess I like it enough to think it's "good" but it's far from mind bending greatness.

Goldilox - King's X.  Finally the original version pops up!  I like the Reprise better but this is great to hear from time to time.  There is a different tone, different emotion on the original.  It's more positive I guess.  I'm wistful now.

Burned Bridges - Living Colour.  I hate having to put that damn "u" in Color.  I'm not English and America is not part of the Common Wealth.  That "u" is theocratic oppression.  That being said, this is the second best song on the best album they've put out in the last 20 years.
