My Nonfiction Book About The Weirdos In Alabama And The Tropics Of Oceania Is Really Taking Off - Thursday Shuffle

Nonfiction by The Black Crowes. The world desperately needs a new album from The Black Crowes. The cold war ended with their debut, maybe a new disc would defuse this Crimea situation. The Black Crowes are powerful peace makers, more skilled than Jimmy Carter and Dennis Rodman combined. 8.6 of 10.

Alabama by Neil Young. I've never cared for the way he pronounces Alabama in this song. Also, I have substantial family roots in Alabama, been there many times, and I've never met anyone from that state that plays the banjo. There are lots of Cadillac drivers though. 8.6 of 10.

Oceania by Smashing Pumpkins. I'm still excited by the music on this disc. Billy and company did a good job making a contemporary album while embracing their core sound. I wish him well in his wrestling venture as well. Adorata is still a lump of shit. 8.6 of 10.

Taking Off by The Cure. Maybe I'm a weirdo (I am) but I really like these kinda up tempo, sunny disposition songs from The Cure. They make me happy. 8.6 of 10.

Tropics by Palms.  The movement in metal toward this atmospheric, somewhat introspective music is great.  We can't be all black and death all of the time.  Hell, this almost sounds like Oingo Boingo and that ain't a bad thing.  8.6 of 10.
