Machete by EarthGang. Contemporary rap isn't that good. Maybe the barrier to entry is so low that I end up with less than excellent stuff in my iTunes.

Mother Mary by Ordos. On the other hand, that low barrier lets me have goodies like this. I would have never heard of this band before YouTube or BandCamp. 8.6 of 10.

A Mind With A Heart Of Its Own by Tom Petty. Tom Petty is as important to rock music as Bob Dylan or Bruce Sprinsteen. 8.5 of 10.

Truce by Death Angel. A really good thrash song from a really good thrash band. Who woulda thought? 8.8 of 10.
