Idaho by Delta Spirit.  There's no delta in Idaho.  That don't make no sense!  This is a half a step above beard/banjo music but that half step is enough to make me like it.  They use proper rock n roll guitars and drums.  8.3 of 10.

Jack by Tad.  Solid Butthole Surfers inspired punk.  They also have a fat guy singer.  Fat guy singers make any band better.  8.3 of 10.

Kick Along by Eric B. and Rakim.  Sometime in the late 90's, popular rap music became terrible.  There's probably a cultural divide and I'm missing out on a lot of good stuff but Wiz Khalifa and Flo Rida aren't anywhere near Rakim level niceness. 8.9 of 10.

Grease Paint And Monkey Brains - White Zombie.  Remember in Faces Of Death when they ate the monkey brains?  That was terrible.  I've only watched that scene through slightly open fingers.  White Zombie can sing about monkey brains and be entertaining.  That's a skill.  8.4 of 10.

Immune by Godsmack.  I'll admit shunning popular rock music on occasion purely because I'm too cool for school.  For some unknown reason Godsmack has always gotten shun immunity.  Maybe because they have an Alice In Chains vibe.  I dunno.  8.4  of 10.
