Fooled By the Night by Minus the Bear. It took three minutes of awfulness to get to the actual meat of the song. There is no reason for a seven minute pop song. Ever. That being said, the meaty part of the song is pretty damn good. 7.9 of 10.

The Malkin Jewel by The Mars Volta. A five minute prog song is perfectly acceptable. I almost always pay close attention to The Mars Volta tracks and hear something new and pleasant half of the time. 8.6 of 10.

Philosophize In It! Chemicalize With It! by Kishi Bashi. Goddamn punctuation in a title. Yuck. This dick didn't even bother to sing the title in a way you would expect when he so brazenly garnished it with an exclamation point. I hate Kishi Bashi like I hate cancer and Hitler. Hipster bullshit. Bomb.

Don't Let Go by Ratt. One of the better tracks on the best reunion album from any 80's era hair bands. Warren is a monster guitarist. 9.0 of 10.

Git Up, Git Out by Outkast. Sweet. Cee Lo makes it happen. The slow jams from the 90's weren't all terrible. 8.8 of 10.
