George's Little Black Horse Doesn't Have Enough Mass To Compete - Monday Shuffle

No Mas Amor by Willie Nelson Feat. Alison Krauss. Willie sounds less like an old man now than he did 40 years ago. It's great that he's recording as much as he is nowadays. Everything has been quality. 8.7 of 10.

Ivory Black by Seryn. Vomitous hipster sincerity. Some aggression could make this tolerable. Wait a sec, it's building up some. Not enough though. 6.0 of 10.

A Horse Called Golgotha by Baroness. I've been fiddling with my speaker configuration on all my systems. Got some smaller three-way JBLs up front and much larger Bose 201's in the satellite position here in the living room. Thought I'd make the powered subwoofer do more of the bottom end work than it has been. It's been a somewhat odd listening experience until now. Holy cow, Baroness shines with this new set up. 9.1 of

Oh, George by Foo Fighters. And now the system sounds kinda hollow. The Energy 6.5's are definitely going back up front once the Tekton Design Lore's show up later this week. The Lore's will be used in the back hi-fi room. This is a lesser Foo jam but still pleasant. 8.2 of 10.

Little Lover's So Polite by Silversun Pickups.  It'd be cool if more people learned to enjoy Silversun Pickups as I have.  They may be all kinds of popular but I never see them mentioned on the heavy metal blogs I read.  I guess what I'm saying is that metal heads should give them a go.  9.0 of 10.
