Look Away by Hootie & The Blowfish.  Go ahead and judge but I think they made good music.  8.7 of 10.

Medre by John Frusciante.  John Frusciante is an accomplished guitar player.  Among the best really.  There are nearly no guitars on this song.  John Frusciante has a unique, pleasant singing voice.  He doesn't sing on this song.  

Winter by TV On The Radio.  Seeds is confounding.  I didn't like it on first listen so I put it away.  Whenever a song from Seeds shows up on the shuffle, I really enjoy it so I bring out the album to see what I was missing.  Turns out I still don't like the album.  TV On The Radio isn't an album band.  8.7 of 10.

Mr. Evil by King's X.  King's X is an album band.  And a singles band.  You should love them.  8.6 of 10.

Foolsong by Baroness.  Baroness primer: Purple is a better album that Yellow & Green.  Red is better than Purple.  Blue is the only color I wear and a really good album.  8.6 of 10.
