This Is Gonna Hurt - Sixx A.M. My opinion of Sixx A.M. has been on a steady decline as of late. It seems too manufactured. This song is essentially a cross of The Killers and Nickelback. Not to be overly critical but I expected more from this second album.
Black, Red, Yellow - Pearl Jam. Another sub par pile of junk. I generally tune out when Pearl Jam goes to far into punk territory. Kinda feel like it's lazy.
Shit Like That - Butthole Surfers. It's reasonable to think that Gibby has been cut of at the clinic at least once in his life. This song is fun but suffers from a lot of the previously mentioned lazy.
In My Dreams - Dokken. It's good for the soul to do some Rokken With Dokken. Probably their biggest hit. Much better than that Dream Warrior crap they put out a few years later. George Lynch really is a talented steroid abuser.
Everywhere I Go - King's X. A couple of other King's X ballads were on the Shuffle yesterday. One was fantastic and the other was just good. This one is very much fantastic. I like the groove here. It's plodding, almost sinister. It might be unintentional but it's definitely the way I interpret it.
