Swamp Song - Tool.  I don't pay nearly enough attention to Tool.  On paper they should be one of my favorite bands.  Being prog-ish, bass driven and Nihilistic are all positives in my book.  Kinda put them in the same boat as Sevendust.  I really like everything they do but never think to spend time with the music.  I may just have an all Tool & Sevendust day soon.

Mexico - Butthole Surfers.  I have very little patience for overt weirdness but the Butthole Surfers get a pass.  They're weirdness is charming.  Who else would have a lyric that involves Bob Dylan being on a moto scooter?  Nobody that's who, Chester.

Take This Bottle - Faith No More.  Wow, I'm hitting on all of my favorite 90's alt acts.  FNM does country well too.  They are, after all, the most rounded band ever.  FNM: the best R&B, funk, rap, country, metal act of all time.

Debonair - The Afghan Whigs.  Holy shit, it's blitz of 90's awesomeness.  Debonair isn't my favorite Afghan Whigs song but it's awesomeness shouldn't be questioned.  They were still finding their footing.  Black Love is their opus.

Chemical Youth - Queensryche.  Okay, this Shuffle is spooky great.  I'm going to bookmark this page and send it to people that want to know what good music is.  Rage For Order has come on strong in recent years as my almost favorite Queensryche album.  It nearly equals Operation.
