Cowboys Still Favor Disease Free, Living Beef. Tuesday Shuffle

More Magic-

Alive - Pearl Jam.  I saw this video on Headbanger's Ball late one Saturday night in 1991.  I went to the record store the next day to buy the album.  They didn't have Ten in stock.  Not because of demand mind you, it was because nobody gave a damn yet.  Yessir, I am a Pearl Jam pioneer.  Ten is magic top to bottom.  Anyone that says Nirvana released a better album in 1991 is a goddamn liar.

A Favor House Atlantic - Coheed & Cambria.  This was exactly what I wanted to hear in 2004.  New music sucked then.  How could you beat a progressive rock band that wasn't afraid of melody?  It's Rush meets Iron Maiden filtered through a New Jersey sensibility.  People complain about Carlos' voice but those people are assholes that you shouldn't listen to.

Spreading The Disease - Queensryche.  Operation Mindcrime is the best album of the 80's.  It was equal parts Queen, Judas Priest and Ted Nugent.  As of right now, this is my favorite song on the album because of the lyric "She wipes the filth away".  Be warned though, Queensryche went to absolute shit in the 90's. Anything released after Promised Land is garbage.

Modern Day Cowboy - Tesla.  Now here is a band that has held their own over the years.  Some of their best stuff has been released in the 2000's.  That being said, none of it holds a candle to this song.  This was my go to tape for taking a walk at night.  I still get a little cardio rush when it comes up.

Still Of The Night - Whitesnake.  I missed out on the Led Zepplin hoopla but I appreciate David Coverdale nonetheless. This was the pinnacle of rock for me when it came out.  I still like it more than Zepplin.
