Midnight Cowboy - Faith No More.  Exactly what it says.  This is the them to Midnight Cowboy with a few rock n' roll embellishments.  It's great zone out music but has little value beyond that.  I'm on the prowl for some action tonight.

No Such Thing - John Mayer.  How the hell did this dude get the reputation of being a guitar genius?  This is just bland pop.  I'm skipping this, it's making me angry.

Paradise City - Guns N' Roses.  Here's some of that rock n roll action I was looking for!  Has anyone ever noticed that this and Freebird are essentially the same song?  They both end on the same pace.  Freebird is a better song though.  

River of Deceit - Mad Season.  Probably my favorite Layne Staley song.  Not to minimize what was done in Alice In Chains but he lays it all out when he sang with Mad Season.  This song also has one of my favorite lyrics of all time with "grow a beautiful shell for all to see".  Don't know why but that resonates with me.

I'm The One - Van Halen.  The most underplayed Van Halen song but the premier example of what a Van Halen song should be.  Dave is full of himself, Michael has perfect harmonies, Alex is rocking a strange time signature and Eddie is playing with a full on guitar boner.  Maybe its the ba ba ba shooby doo wa's that turn people off.  It's just a small portion of the song people.  Get over it.
