Blitzkrieg - Metallica.  German words work well as metal song titles.  Goosestepping sociopaths would love this.  It's very Wagnerian.  I might even be inspired to line up behind the leader and espouse the virtue of race purity if I wasn't such a worldly, open minded fellow and didn't have a deep appreciation for mulatto women.  It does rock by the way.

World To Come - Gorija.  I picked up this CD a few weeks ago and haven't spent much time with it.  This may be the first time I've listened to this particular song.  Don't care for it all that much, it sounds out of tune or something.  It's pitchy, dog.  It's also ballad-ish.  There is no justifiable reason for a European black metal thrash band to produce a ballad.  Only a few women would ever like Gorija anyway and a ballad would be last the reason they enjoy 'em.

Make It Right - J. Mascis.  More shoe gazing from J.  This time he does it with a twangy guitar as back-up.  Country J. is weird.  I think there is a flute on here too.  Meh.

Parental Discretion Iz Advised - NWA.  This song would be great if they spelled "is" correctly.  I am, after all, supposed to be amazed by the English on display.  MC Ren is the best part of NWA.  Wonder what happened to him.  I know he didn't die of AIDS.  Eazy E did that.  He got the bug from the "z" in his name.  

Freewill - Rush.  I was thinking of this song for a good portion of yesterday.  It was burning a melodic hole in my head.  I must have listened to it a half dozen times to satiate the Freewill need.  I'm still digging it now on the 7th listen in the last 24 hours.  Am I still in a Rush phase after 25 plus years?
