Backstreet Hookers Are Just Kindhearted Strangers In Disguise - Monday Shuffle

Hung On A Hook by Alice In Chains.  The new dude isn't a Layne replacement, he's a more than tolerable substitute.  Really good song.  8.8 of 10.

God Is In The Radio by Queens Of The Stone Age.  Lanegan should sing more QOTSA songs.  Most would be okay in my book.  Like Clockwork has a Lanegan deficiency.  8.9 of 10.

Strangers by Liars.  It's been a minute (black person slang for a really long time, not an actual minute) since Liars has popped up on a shuffle.  It's like a Radiohead style soundscape if sung by Jim Morrison only not as interesting as that should ideally sound.  8.3 of 10.

Backstreets by Bruce Springsteen.  I know the songs on Born To Run but have rarely listened with intent through a decent sound system.  Glad it's happening for me now.  This is very, very good.  9.2 of 10.

Black Heart by The Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington.   This was an impulse buy that paid off.  Chester is a talented Scott Weiland mimic.  The tunes are there as well.  8.8 of 10.
